Wednesday 15-07

Today we all had another day of research; some groups had a more fruitful day than others. Africa style some appointments didn’t go the way we wanted. My group, with Michiel and Fiona were supposed to have a meeting with Timothy the tailor. We biked to his office/house for 30 minutes (Michiel was ecstatic, Fiona less), but when we got there we couldn’t reach him and found out through Emmanuel from Khaya that Timothy was not even on Zanzibar at the moment. So we biked back! It was really nice to experience the chaotic traffic though and see a new part of Zanzibar in this way. Lizzy, Tom and Mila had a meeting with another entrepreneur but that appointment also fell through.

There was a really nice meeting though at the Zanzibar Coffee House for the idea to support the different schools we are working with here on Zanzibar. A good plan of action was made and a lot of ideas were worked out!

We went to the beach a little earlier than normal and it was really nice with a high tide! The sun was quite harsh but sunburns were avoided! We had dinner at home and afterwards we had some drinks at the local bar and free pizza!!
